Getting Started
What exactly is Kibu?
A family app where parents assign missions — chores, prayers, homework, routines — and kids complete them to earn Kibu Coins and XP, which unlock real rewards a parent sets up.
How does a kid join the family?
A parent generates a QR code or a 6-character invite code from their device. The kid scans or enters it on their own device to join — it's the only way in, and it expires after 24 hours.
What ages is Kibu for?
Kids roughly 6 to 16. Missions and rewards can be targeted to an age range and gender when a parent creates them.
Billing & Plans
How does the free trial work?
No charge today. 7-day free trial, then auto-renews at selected plan price. Cancel anytime in settings.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from Settings on the family owner's device — the same place the subscription was started.
What happens if I downgrade below my kid count?
Nobody gets deleted. You choose which kids stay active; the rest are archived and come back with everything intact the moment you upgrade again.
Who can manage billing?
Only the family owner. Subscription management is also locked behind a 4-digit PIN or Face ID, so kids can't reach it even on a shared device.
Safety & Privacy
How do kids add friends?
Only by typing someone's exact @username. There's no browsing and no suggested friends — if a parent turns on approval, every new friendship waits for a parent's yes first.
What data does Kibu collect on my kids?
Analytics are opt-in and asked for per child, separately from any third-party sharing. Kibu never sends a kid's name, photos, or messages — only what they tap, and how the app performs.
Can my kid see or change the subscription?
No. Billing is locked behind a 4-digit PIN or Face ID that's separate from the kid's own PIN.
Devices & Accounts
Can multiple kids share one device?
Yes. Kibu has a full account picker built for shared tablets and family phones, with biometric-gated profile switching.
How many parents can be on one account?
Up to 3 parent or caregiver accounts on every plan, each set to Full Admin or View Only.
